Summer 2025 marked the beginning of a new partnership between WHPC and the Thrasher Boys and Girls Club in Little Rock’s southend neighborhood. Located at 34th and State Street, Thrasher has had a full summer with more than 100 kids participating in the summer camp programs.
Westover has contributed weekly fruit snacks for Fridays and also paid for summer transportation for the weekly field trips to places like bowling, movies, and the Dailey Center pool. Our goal was and continues to be ensuring that every child at Thrasher can fully participate in the summer fun regardless of any financial limitations.
As we grow into this relationship, there will be more opportunities to support the work of Thrasher and build this important partnership with the southend neighborhood.
