The CE Ministry
The Christian Education Ministry Team includes five to eight members, including a moderator. The team is divided into two subcommittees-Adults and Children & Youth.
Members meet six times a year to plan the various opportunities for spiritual growth from bible studies to our new Sunday Morning Coffee Hour model for Sunday School.
Elder Camilla Ballard serves as moderator of the CE Ministry.
Our Philosophy
At Westover Hills we view faith as a journey taken in community. Our Christian Education Ministry is not in charge of making Christians as if we were a faith factory. Instead, this ministry is where important questions and faithful engagement meet in creative and life-giving events.
Get Involved
There are plenty of ways to get involved in the CE Ministry. Everyone is invited to join in all events. We also hope that you will share your own insights and gifts through a 20-Minute talk or an art experience. Whether your are a painter, poet, philosopher, or something that does not even begin with “P,” we would love to add your voice and insights to our ministry!
